They had these shoes on the Doctors and I thought they looked interesting. These shoes claimed to make you stand taller and help your posture. It was also explained that they were like shock absorbers for your body. It sounded like a gimmick but I wanted to try them. I contacted Z coil and explained that my back, knees and hips have hurt since I had my kids. My husbands back also hurt from running in the army. They gave us a pair of shoes to review but we had to go to an authorized dealer to get custom fitted.
There were many styles to pick from and I wanted the tennis shoes and hubby chose the boots. We learned that the coil in the heel can be softer or stronger or turned up. There was a computer system to measure where we put pressure on our feet. Then we walked around. I realized I put a lot of pressure on my big toe when I stand and hurt my heels when I walked before.
Now it has been two months and they have helped a lot. Ive been running some and Ive noticed most of my joint pain is gone. I got lots of compliments on the shoes while I wore them. They are my favorite pair now. No matter if they are 'weird' looking. I will probably get a pair of the Mary Jane ones though.
ZCoil shoes vary in price and are usually about $220 and my hubby's boots were $250. They last a very long time though and if you need to replace the sole its very inexpensive. It is an investment for a happier, and healthier life!
